Giant Bilateral Ovarian Serous Cystadenofibroma Mimicking Malignancy: Case Report and Comprehensive Literature Review

BSTRACT

We present a rare case of giant bilateral ovarian serous adenofibromas clinically and radiologically mimicking malignancy in a 43-year-old woman with prior tuberculosis, resulting in massive abdominal masses. A laparotomy was done with cystic mass removal and frozen section, followed by subtotal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, and bowel repair was done. The final histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of benign serous adenofibroma. We integrate this case with recent scientific literature to highlight the importance of clinicoradiological correlation and pathological confirmation in such diagnostic dilemmas.
