Garrett Ranking Technique to Determine the Problems Faced by Teaching Faculty During the Usage of Information and Communication Technologies

So, this research was done to find out the problems faced by the teaching faculty during ICT usage and the application of Garrett ranking technique to know the most and least faced problem among the teaching faculty. To explore the problems faced by the teaching faculty, ex-post facto research design was adopted and questionnaire was developed in consultation with the experts. With the developed questionnaire google forms were developed and sent to the teaching faculty of all five state agricultural universities of Rajasthan. Total 191 responses were received through google forms and the received data were coded and analysed by using Garrett ranking method to rank problems according to their frequency of occurring. According to Garrett ranking the major problems faced by teaching faculty was physiological problems like digital eye strain, screen headache and muscle and joint problems simultaneously the problems least faced the faculty members were personal and social problems i.e. lack of personal computer, lack of motivation and inactive social gathering and spending less time with family.
