Fungal laccase-guided copper nanoflower assembly enables complete conversion of HMF to FDCA

This study synthesizes laccase-integrated copper hybrid nanoflowers (Lac-NFs) via enzyme–metal self-assembly, enabling complete HMF-to-FDCA conversion while exhibiting enhanced stability, activity retention, and kinetics versus free laccase.
