The EIC-funded CONFETI project aims to develop innovative lab-scale technology that captures and converts CO2 and N2 from air or flue gases into urea using renewable energy, bypassing critical raw materials. It also plans to recycle ni-trates into ammonia or urea through sunlight-driven photocatalytic technology, promoting a circular and sustainable carbon and nitrogen economy.
