From Innovation to Regenerativity: Leadership Learning for Thriving in a Far‐Future World

Anthony C. Andenoro

ABSTRACT

Innovation is often framed as novelty, technological advancement, or disruption, limiting its potential within leadership learning. This article reframes innovation as a developmental and regenerative practice that emerges through intentionally designed learning environments. Drawing on Rogers' definition of innovation, far‐future thinking, and system‐based iteration, the manuscript positions innovation as a mechanism for thriving and a bridge between present fragmentation and future regenerativity. This framework positions leadership learning as the cultivation of ecosystems in which individuals thrive and communities flourish, allowing innovation to emerge as a byproduct of well‐designed human systems.
