Sergey Kipreev

Intellectual games are an innovative form of patriotic education. An analysis of the most popular intellectual games revealed several challenges within the educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, primarily related to the need to modernize the academic environment. The study was conducted in educational organizations of various law enforcement agencies. It was attended by 198 cadets who were trained in the professional program "Policeman", who are students of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia and are undergoing military service. The analysis included an introspective assessment performed by the cadets themselves. Intellectual games proved to be an effective practical method for increasing interest in value-semantic activities, creating a beneficial pedagogical environment through play. The survey method confirmed the reliability of the research procedure and the validity of the conclusions. A theoretical analysis of the modern educational process made it possible to increase the effectiveness of patriotic education for police officers. Intellectual games successfully fostered patriotism among cadets and improved the academic process.
