Formation of value orientations of younger schoolchildren by means of bibliotherapy

The article deals with the urgent problem of spiritual and moral education of the younger generation. The pedagogical potential of bibliotherapy as an effective method of forming value orientations in children of primary school age is substantiated. The results of an empirical study are presented, including diagnostics of the level of formation of value orientations (intellectual, emotional-evaluative and behavioral components) and testing of a set of classes using bibliotherapeutic techniques. The effectiveness of the proposed method is proved, which contributes to increasing the importance of spiritual and moral values in the hierarchy of personal preferences of younger schoolchildren.
