Formation of the subject of legal behavior in primary school age (a dialogue between V.V. Davydov and A.A. Lyublinskaya)

Svetlana Semeno

This article addresses the problem of fostering primary school children as subjects of legal behavior within the contemporary educational landscape. The purpose of the study is to justify the relevance and practical applicability of the psychological and pedagogical concepts of V.V. Davydov and A.A. Lyublinskaya for legal education and upbringing. The author contends that primary school age, owing to its sensitive developmental potential, provides favorable opportunities for the internalization and application of legal norms and rules, provided that the child as a subject of legal behavior develops awareness, reflexivity, and self-regulatory capacities.
