FIGHTING AGAINST CORRUPTION WITH NATIONAL INSIGHT AS A PART OF STATE DEFENSE

In the context of national resilience, threats to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) extend beyond military aggression to include non military threats such as corruption, severely undermining the nation’s social, economic, and political fabric. This paper examines the strategic role of national insight as the foundation of non-military state defence in preventing and combating corruption. Employing a qualitative approach and normative literature review, this study highlights the importance of internalising national values such as unity, nationalism, and integrity rooted in Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution to foster collective awareness against corruption. The findings indicate that national insight is an ideological instrument and a moral force that motivates active public participation in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty from internal decay. Thus, state defence through the rejection of corruption represents a concrete manifestation of love for the homeland and the constitutional responsibility of every citizen.
