Features of training in the use of innovative development methodologies
Viktor GelmanThe subject of the study is the analysis of the features of training methods for engineers-developers in using methodologies for innovative developments. The labor market faces a pressing need for qualified engineers-developers, and the relevance of the work is associated with the necessity of improving the training of engineers-developers in innovative activities. The main differences between innovative development and regular development are discussed. These include the presence of stages: the emergence of an idea, the formulation of a goal, and conducting research. It is shown that the search for ideas for innovative developments is a key stage for the ultimate success of the project. Approaches to training students in analyzing scientific and technical literature, effectively using generative neural networks, creative thinking techniques, user needs analysis, and conducting interdisciplinary research have been proposed. All of this facilitates the search for innovative ideas. The methodological basis of the work was the analysis of scientific publications on the issues of training in innovative engineering activities, as well as generalized practical experience. The main contribution of the author to the research topic is the analysis of the features of teaching students to use methodologies for innovative developments. The necessity of emphasizing the differences in innovative developments during the training of engineers-developers, particularly focusing on teaching students how to search for innovative ideas, is justified. In addition to the search for innovative ideas, preparing to formulate goals and objectives, and the ability to clearly articulate the problem or need that must be solved by new methods, also gains significant importance. Training in conducting research, formulating hypotheses, and developing a research program and plan is necessary as well. Possible complications arising during the implementation of training for the discussed stages have been identified. The results of the study can be used to improve the educational programs of higher education institutions and to organize practical training for engineers-developers in innovative activities.
