Nasal septum perforations, especially of anterior localization, are associated with severe symptoms and reduced quality of life. Despite the availability of a wide range of surgical methods for their plasty, a single standardized approach to the treatment of such patients is currently lacking. This review presents modern methods for closing perforations, comparative analysis of which considering the anatomical characteristics of the defect, condition of the mucous membrane and previous interventions was performed. Special attention was given to the anatomy of the blood supply of the nasal cavity, which determines the viability of the flap and effectiveness of surgical intervention. The necessity to develop personalized surgical tactics aimed at increasing the effectiveness of treatment is emphasized.
