Farewell Aristotle! The Turn toward German Philosophy

The chapter analyzes the mid-18th-century shift at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy initiated by Symon Todorskyi after his studies in Halle. Rejecting scholastic Aristotelianism, professors turned to the German philosophy of Christian Wolff, marking a major transformation in Kyiv’s intellectual tradition.
