Extracranial Meningiomas of the Left Neck
Yao Wu, Pan‐pan LvABSTRACT
Extracranial meningiomas can present in atypical locations and may have distinct symptoms that require specific treatment strategies based on tumor size, location, and effects on adjacent structures. Herein, we present a case of extracranial meningioma on the left side of the neck in a 64‐year‐old female. The diagnosis was confirmed via histological examination and immunohistochemical staining. The patient underwent a surgical procedure that included histological biopsy and resection of the neck soft tissue lesion combined with peripheral nerve decompression, which is the standard treatment for symptomatic meningiomas.
