Pro-environmental behaviours (PEBs) and organic food consumption (OFC) are key components of sustainable consumer practices. This study aimed to examine the associations between PEB, green attitudes (GAs), and OFC among Polish mothers of children under six years of age. A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 667 participants using a study-specific questionnaire. Data were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods to assess associations between variables and differences across socio-demographic factors. The results indicate that respondents most frequently engaged in economically beneficial PEB, including reducing waste and conserving resources. Higher levels of PEB were observed among women aged 35 years and older, those with better self-reported financial status, and residents of large cities. PEB was significantly associated with OFC and GAs, indicating consistency between environmental attitudes and behaviours. Selected GAs were significantly associated with OFC, indicating that other factors beyond GAs may contribute to consumers’ organic food choices. The findings suggest that PEB, GAs and OFC should be considered as components of a broader pattern of sustainable consumer behaviour rather than independent phenomena. These findings provide empirical evidence on the associations between these factors and may support the development of interventions promoting sustainable consumer practices.
