M. Hema Sundara Rao, G. Siva PrasadThe Journal of the Indian Society of Soil Science (JISSS) is a leading Indian publication that disseminates research across the domains of Agricultural and Biological Sciences. This study presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of JISSS publications from 2011 to 2023, based on data retrieved from the Scopus database. A total of 653 articles were analyzed to examine trends in annual publication output, citation patterns, prolific authors, authorship collaborations, contributing countries, funding sponsors, and the most highly cited papers. Moreover, the study also investigates author affiliations, highlighting institutions with the highest productivity and citation impact. For visual representation and science mapping, GraphPad software and VOSviewer were employed. Co-authorship network analysis at the author and institutional levels, along with keyword co-occurrence mapping, was conducted to uncover thematic concentrations and research clusters within JISSS literature. The findings provide valuable insights into the research dynamics, collaboration trends, and emerging topics within the journal’s scholarly contributions over the past decade.
