Background: Prostate cancer represents a leading cause of cancer incidence and mortality worldwide, with a notable increase in case, particularly among younger populations. Traditional treatment modalities are frequently associated with significant side effects, emphasizing the urgent need for alternative strategies, such as chemo-prevention. Flavonoid, naturally occurring compounds in fruits and vegetables, have gained attention for their potential anticancer properties, attributed to their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and cancer-preventive effects. The present study investigates the intake of flavonoid rich food across different occupational groups, at different follow-up periods.
