As the use of interleukin-1 blockers in recurrent pericarditis has increased, questions regarding infection risk, activity restrictions, and lifestyle considerations have increasingly arisen in clinical practice. We describe expert opinion–based considerations for patient counseling and clinical decision-making in this evolving therapeutic context.
