Cancer has become one of the major diseases threatening the health of the Chinese population. The incidence of cancer in high‐altitude regions of China is equally concerning. However, due to the unique geographical environment, population, and economic factors in high‐altitude regions, there is an urgent need for a consensus on cancer prevention and management tailored to real‐world clinical practice. To promote and standardize the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in high‐altitude regions, under the leadership of the Breast Cancer Expert Committee of the National Cancer Quality Control Center and the Cancer Prevention and Treatment Committee of the Healthy China Research Center, experts in the field of high‐altitude medicine were convened to jointly formulate the “Expert Consensus on the Standardized Diagnosis, Treatment, and Management of Cancer in High‐Altitude Regions of China.” This consensus serves as a reference for clinicians in high‐altitude regions.
