Experimental Study of the Wet Leather Wringing Process Using a Combination of Working Rollers
Bahodir IgamberdievThis article presents an experimental study and analysis of the dewatering process for wet leather semi-finished products using a wringing roller with a cermet working surface, as well as other roller combinations. For each combination, the dewatering process was carried out using specific operating parameters: feed speeds of 10, 16, and 22 m/min and roller pressures of 40, 60, and 80 kN/m. The thickness of the leather semi-finished product samples was 9 mm. The experimental results made it possible to determine the amount of liquid removed at various roller pressure settings and feed speeds.
