Expansion of Opt-Out Testing for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia to Male Detainees in the Cook County Jail - Chicago, Illinois

In the 12 months before and after, testing among males increased from 7.2% to 23.5% of intakes, with cases rising threefold for both gonorrhea and chlamydia. Most infections were treated before release.
