Examination of a founder's inscription in Gračanica Monastery and the importance of understanding inscriptions and notes in wall painting

This paper presents an overview of a founder's inscription in Gračanica Monastery with the aim of deciphering and interpreting its content, specifically the messages and information conveyed to the viewer. The understanding of the content, the language of the inscriptions, and the information communicated to the observer is subsequently examined through the lens of data collected from a survey conducted within the project "Subjective Experiences of Fresco Art - DiFresco."
