This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between eating disorders and premenstrual syndrome (PMS) in adolescents.

Results
The mean PMSS, ORTO-15, and EDES total scores were 118.39 ± 36.35, 37.91 ± 3.71, and 10.57 ± 7.82, respectively. Statistically significant correlations were observed between PMSS and both EDES and ORTO-15 scores (
Conclusion
These findings suggest a link between PMS severity and eating disorder symptoms, including disordered eating patterns and orthorexic tendencies. PMS in adolescents is associated with eating disorder symptoms. Early assessment and intervention by mental health professionals may enhance awareness and support the effective management of PMS-related eating concerns.
