The European Network on Prevention and Health Promotion in Family Medicine and General Practice (EUROPREV) is the official WONCA Europe network dedicated to evidence-based prevention and health promotion in primary care. Founded in 1996, EUROPREV has brought together general practitioners, family physicians, and researchers across Europe to advance preventive care through research, education, guideline development, and international collaboration. This article commemorates the 30th anniversary of EUROPREV by providing a comprehensive historical account of the network's evolution from its foundation to 2026. Rather than serving as a conventional review, it presents an archival record of EUROPREV's organizational development, leadership, scientific activities, educational initiatives, research projects, international collaborations, policy contributions, and participation in WONCA Europe and global family medicine. The manuscript documents major milestones, including congress activities, European Forums on Prevention and Primary Care, webinars, multinational research projects, practical guidance documents, and position papers that have shaped the network's development over three decades. By preserving the chronology and scope of EUROPREV's activities, this article aims to serve as a primary historical source for future researchers, family physicians, and members of the organization. It highlights the network's sustained contribution to strengthening evidence-based prevention and health promotion in European clinical practice in primary care while providing a permanent record of its first thirty years of achievements.
