Ethical Issues Associated with New Technologies in Patient Care

The purpose of this paper is to discuss ethical issues raised by new technologies such as artificial intelligence tools that could occur now or in the future with ongoing innovations. After a brief mention of terminology, five concerns associated with new technologies are presented that have associated ethical implications. Following this is a discussion of the implications of concerns for various stakeholders with additional references for the interested reader.
