Ethical Aspects of Information Grasping in the Current World Scenario: A Review with Special Reference to Ai Writing and Plagiarism

Rapid AI growth has reshaped information access and processing. This review investigates ethical concerns with AI writing tools, especially plagiarism and academic honesty. A review of the current literature identifies the most relevant challenges, including attribution problems and blurred boundaries between human-and machine-generated content. Forty-five peer-reviewed articles published between 2022 and 2025 reveal a 64% increase in AI-related academic misconduct and significant policy gaps in educational institutions. This essay proposes ethical approaches and recommendations for preserving academic integrity in the digital era.
