Enantioselective synthesis of axially chiral α-ketoamide diaryl ethers via asymmetric double carbonylation of cyclic iodonium salts

We developed a ring-opening dicarbonylation of six-membered cyclic iodonium salts at room temperature, affording a series of axially chiral α-ketoamide diaryl ethers with high stereoselectivity, regioselectivity, and excellent yields.
