Enantioselective synthesis and characterization of [ m . n ]paracyclophanes
Yilu Wen, Yaqi Yao, Yujun Zhong, Chenyang Li, Changgui ZhaoAn NHC-catalyzed enantioselective macrocyclization is developed to access diverse [ m . n ]PCPs in up to 97% ee. Subsequent structural interrogation of strain energy, aromatic stacking, and local strain establishes clear structure–property correlations.
