The engagement of farm women in training programs within Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) settings is crucial for sustainable agricultural practices. However, various challenges hinder their effective participation, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of their constraints across different domains. This study aims to identify and analyze the challenges faced by farm women across training initiatives, technology adoption, economic aspects, socio-psychological factors, and institutional settings within the KVK framework. The study was conducted at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, employing purposive sampling techniques. Data collection involved personal interviews using a structured questionnaire, and the Garrett's Ranking Technique was utilized for data analysis. Findings revealed significant challenges across different domains. Key challenges included gaps between training and practical application, limited opportunities for women-oriented training, and obstacles in adopting modern agricultural technologies. Economic constraints, socio-psychological barriers, and institutional challenges were also identified, necessitating tailored interventions for each domain. The study underscores the need for strategic interventions to address the identified challenges comprehensively. Recommendations include refining training programs, enhancing economic empowerment initiatives, establishing socio-psychological support systems, and improving institutional support for farm women. Such interventions not only uplift the economic status of farm women but also contribute to the resilience and sustainability of agricultural communities.
