Empowering Entrepreneurial Ecosystems: A Case Study of SoBigData RI’s Impact

Abstract

This book chapter analyzes the relationship between entrepreneurial ecosystems (EEs) and the use of Big Data through a survey of stakeholder needs in the context of the SoBigData Research Infrastructure (SoBigData RI) project. Through analyzing the perspectives and needs of the various stakeholders involved in the project, the book chapter provides an overview of the challenges and opportunities in using Big Data to stimulate entrepreneurial innovation. In particular, the authors aim at providing the research infrastructure’s practices, topics, and services that can appropriately feed the European EEs around Big Data.
