Employment Relations as Discursive Practice: How Leadership Enacts Institutional Expectations in Contemporary Workplaces
Muhammad NadeemABSTRACT
This conceptual paper develops discursive enactment as the communicative mechanism through which institutional expectations and frames of reference organise work, render accountability actionable and structure worker voice. Drawing on three literature‐based illustrations, it connects institutional employment‐relations scholarship with the everyday processes through which authority is reproduced, negotiated or contested.
