Electromagnetic impedance and transparency of thin conductors in multichannel reflection of electrons by specimen boundary

V. Kardenas, M. A. Lur’e

The theory of dimensional high-frequency effects in thin plates associated with a new mechanism of anomalous penetration of electromagnetic field into a metal is constructed.1−3 These effects are caused by transfer processes occurring upon electron collisions with a smooth surface have been observed in recent experiments.6 The transparency and impedance of plates are calculated for a wide range of magnetic fields and frequencies ω of an electromagnetic wave.
