In the present work, elastic wave propagation and band structure properties in spherically nanoscale periodic laminates subjected to radial excitation are investigated based on nonlocal elasticity theory. Initially, approximate analytical solutions of governing equation and transfer matrix corresponding to spherical waves are formulated mathematically. Then, band structures and transmission spectra of spherically multi-layered nanocomposites with respect to Resin/Silver and Silver/Resin cases are computed to examine the nanoscale size-effect. In order to validate the feasibility of the present formulation, variation of transmission spectra for different values of nonlocal parameter
