Effectiveness of Upadacitinib After Anti-IL-13 Treatment Failure in Atopic Dermatitis: A 52-Week Real-World Case Series - IL-AD (Italian Landscape Atopic Dermatitis)
Luca Potestio, Silvia Mariel Ferrucci, Simone Ribero, Alessandra Narcisi, Mariateresa Rossi, Anna Graziella Burroni, Elena Pezzolo, Maddalena Napolitano, Diego OrsiniWe evaluated the 52-week real-world effectiveness of upadacitinib in 32 patients with atopic dermatitis previously treated with selective IL-13 inhibitors. Upadacitinib provided sustained improvement in objective disease severity, itch and sleep, with 28/32 patients (87.5%) achieving EASI ≤7 and 23/32 patients (71.9%) achieving EASI ≤3 at week 52, supporting JAK1 inhibition as a viable option after anti-IL-13 treatment failure.
