This article describes a centralized remote model for conducting the regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren (VOSh), implemented in the Chelyabinsk region in 2021. It was found that the implementation of this model resulted in an increase in Olympiad participants from 2790 to over 4000. Issues related to ensuring equal opportunities for participants from remote municipalities in the region were addressed, and issues related to ensuring the confidentiality of information contained in Olympiad assignments were addressed.
