Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the influence of various glass fiber reinforcement ratios and thermal cycling on the flexural strength of two bis-acrylic composite provisional crown materials. Methods: Two commercially available bis-acrylic materials (Structur Premium and Protemp 4) were reinforced with short glass fibers at 0% (Control), 2.5%, 5%, 10%, and 15% by weight. Specimens (n=240) were fabricated according to ISO 10477:2020 and tested under two conditions: with and without thermal cycling (2,500 cycles between 5°C and 55°C). Flexural strength was measured using a universal testing machine with the three-point bending method. Three-way ANOVA and post hoc Tukey HSD were used to evaluate the importance of material type, reinforcement percentage and thermal cycle (P=.05).Results: Material type, fiber reinforcement level, and thermal cycling significantly affected flexural strength (P<.05). Protemp 4 demonstrated improved strength with fiber addition up to 5%, while Structur Premium showed a decrease in strength with fiber reinforcement. Thermal cycling significantly increased the flexural strength of Protemp 4 but had minimal effect on Structur Premium. No significant three-way interaction was found among the studied factors. Conclusion: Glass fiber reinforcement has a material-dependent effect on flexural strength. Protemp 4 benefits from reinforcement up to 5%, especially under thermal cycling conditions, whereas Structur Premium performs best without reinforcement. These findings support the need for tailored reinforcement protocols based on material selection in provisional crowns. Keywords: Provisional restorations, flexural strength, reinforcement, glass fiber, resin materials.
