Objective: This study protocol aims to evaluate the effects of the “Uncontrolled Hypertensives for Integrative Nursing based Multimodal Intervention (UHTINuM)” multimodal intervention on blood pressure (BP), stress, and treatment adherence among community-dwelling individuals with uncontrolled hypertension. Methods: This study is designed as a single-center, randomized controlled trial with a 1:1 parallel allocation. Participants will be hypertensive individuals aged 50–65 years, recruited during a community health screening in Hayat Park, Antalya, who have uncontrolled BP. Participants will be randomly assigned to the intervention or control group. The UHTINuM program will be implemented over 12 weeks and include: (1) a structured yoga program incorporating breathing techniques and meditation, (2) training on treatment adherence, and (3) education on BP self-monitoring. The active control group will receive routine hypertension follow-up. Primary outcomes are BP, perceived stress level, and treatment adherence. Secondary outcomes include physical activity and body mass index. Conclusion: This is the first protocol based on Integrative Nursing (IN) principles to target individuals with uncontrolled hypertension. The study is expected to provide evidence for the effectiveness of IN-based multimodal interventions in hypertension management.
