Economic and management perspectives realized through the Eurocity Chaves-Verin project

Abstract

The enlargement of the European Union and the deepening of cross-border cooperation between the individual member states provide new opportunities for economic and social prosperity. Thanks to this cooperation, Euroregions and Eurocities are emerging between a number of European countries. A pioneer in this regard is Eurocity Chaves-Verin, in the northwestern part of the Iberian Peninsula where Spain and Portugal border. It affects not only the cities of Chaves and Verin, but also the neighboring territories.
