Surti Sharma, Anukrati Sharma, Vivek Sharma

While concerns about environmental deterioration and mental health remain on the increase in the world, eco-wellness tourism has become a viable opportunity for harmonizing travel with sustainability and overall well-being. This research examines the viability of Kota, a Rajasthan city renowned for its learning institutions and natural resources, as a model of sustainable development-oriented eco-wellness tourism. The study explores the interaction between environmental conservation, wellness activities, and community engagement in the regional tourism industry. Based on field surveys, stakeholder interviews, and sustainability analyses, the study reveals important natural resources like the Chambal River, forests, and heritage sites that can be combined with wellness activities such as yoga, meditation, and nature therapies. Focus is given to reducing carbon footprints, saving biodiversity, and stimulating local economies by adopting environmentally friendly policies. According to the findings, Kota has the potential, through strategic planning and policy assistance, to become a premier eco-wellness tourism destination that can provide other regions with an easily replicable model for balancing economic development with nature and human well-being.
