This is a case of a 41 year old male patient who presented in the last week of April 2023 with severe respiratory distress and was found to be Covid19 positive. He was put on early mechanical ventilatory support and treated with steroids, antibiotics, Remdesivir and Tocilizumab and had a successful recovery. This case is presented to highlight that even though Covid-19 is no longer considered a global emergency by the World Health Organisation, we should not let our guard down as early detection and prompt action can save patients even with severe Covid-19.
