: Daily Planning System for Negotiating Actionable Low-Carbon Schedules
Jeongwon Choi, Donghyeon Kang, Inseok Hwang Growing concerns about climate change have motivated many individuals to live more sustainably, yet real-life constraints often prevent them from turning awareness into action. Prior eco-feedback systems have effectively increased awareness and motivation but offer limited support for acting within these everyday constraints. To bridge this gap, we present E

helps users organize their daily plans by considering both fixed and flexible events, transportation options, and personal preferences. E

generates multiple schedule options, allowing users to choose the one that fits their day. Through a multi-phase design, we developed E

with a mobile application and server. Our scenario-based in-lab study with 38 participants and four-week in-the-wild study with 18 participants revealed that E

helped users incorporate low-carbon choices into their daily planning. We discuss design implications for helping low-carbon choices fit into everyday routines.
