Dynamics of the Local Culture of the Tatars in Urban Environment through the Prism of the Wedding Ritual (Following the Example of Slivo Pole)
Niren HasanovaThe scientific message examines the ritual – “wedding” and its transformation at the end of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st century, relative to the local culture of the Tatars in a city environment. The observation was conducted in the following regions: Dobrich and Ruse. The scientific reflection is performed on the historic and geographic picture of the researched area of the Tatar community in Bulgaria. The dynamic of the ethnic and demographic markers in the research regions is presented. The analysis is of the place and role of the wedding ritual in the local culture of the Tatars in a city environment. The accent is on the scenic interpretation of the Tatar wedding with a time aspect.
