Dream BIG! Empowering Employee Well-being through Wellness Coaching: A Program and Process Evaluation

Objective
To evaluate the impact of Dream BIG!, a work-life employee wellness program using wellness coaching to enhance employee well-being.
Methods
A descriptive analysis was conducted on program outcomes and coaching processes.
Results
22 Participants attended an average of 8.3 (±2.9) one-on-one and 4.6 (±2.1) group coaching sessions. At program completion, 61.2% reported success in achieving their goals. Common reported improvements included life satisfaction (55.6%) and health management (50%). Participants gave high ratings (≥4.4) for coaches’ communication and skills.
Conclusions
The development of a program and process evaluation approach successfully highlighted the preliminary impact of a 9-month, holistic, work-life program that integrates dreams to support and promote personal and professional goals of employees.
