ABSTRACT

We report the draft genome sequence of a multidrug-resistant Escherichia coli strain (UA5) isolated from retail chicken breast in Kosovo. The genome contains the beta-lactamase gene “bla EC-15 ,” multiple virulence-associated genes and plasmids.
