ABSTRACT

This study reports the draft genome sequence of Bacillus cereus strain MHES1, isolated from the rhizosphere of Rotala ramosior in coastal Bangladesh. The 5.7-Mb genome contains 5,607 protein-coding sequences and genes associated with plant growth promotion, salinity tolerance, and resistance to arsenic, cadmium, and lead, supporting its potential for sustainable agriculture.
