Discussion: Origins of British Reservoir Safety Legislation 1850-1930

I enjoyed Charles’ & Tedd’s paper, Origins of British reservoir safety legislation 1850-1930. It sets the development of the legal framework into its historical context. I would like to take the opportunity to set the record straight on two incidents listed in Table 3, namely those at Rishton and Clydach Vale reservoirs.
