Dipyrromethane–diphosphines: nickel and palladium complexes as catalysts for the selective hydroboration of CO 2 to methoxyborane under mild conditions with mechanistic study

The selective hydroboration of CO 2 (1 atm) to methoxyborane catalyzed by Pd and Ni complexes of dipyrromethane-based diphosphines at 25 °C operates via the in situ generated metal hydrides, and their catalytic activity depends on the meso groups.
