Digital Twin-Based Mental Health Assessment of Maintenance Personnel in the Whole Life Cycle of New Energy Vehicle Batteries

Qichen Zheng, Boyu Shen

Abstract

Objective

Battery performance degradation in the whole life cycle brings operational risks to new energy vehicles, causing psychological pressure and anxiety to drivers and maintenance personnel, and impairing their mental health and stable mental state. This study constructs a battery life cycle mental health state assessment system based on digital twin, aiming to realize accurate battery state evaluation, reduce personnel psychological pressure and safeguard their mental health.

Subjects and Methods

Taking new energy vehicle power batteries and 100 related drivers and maintenance personnel as research objects, digital twin technology was used to model battery full-life cycle data; psychological scales were adopted to measure personnel’s psychological pressure and mental health status, and correlation analysis explored the link between battery state and personnel psychological indicators.

Results

The digital twin-based assessment system accurately identifies battery abnormal states in real time, effectively reducing operational risk anxiety and psychological pressure of relevant personnel, and stabilizing their mental state; inaccurate battery state evaluation is associated with high psychological pressure and poor mental health among personnel with frequent negative emotional states.

Conclusions

The digital twin-based battery full-life cycle mental health state assessment system is an effective technical means to link battery physical state with personnel psychological state, which can alleviate psychological pressure, optimize mental health level and stabilize the mental state of drivers and maintenance personnel while ensuring battery safety.
