Digital storytelling as a means of mastering historical content by foreign students of the preparatory department
Ekaterina NovodranThis article examines the potential of digital storytelling as a modern method for teaching history to international students in preparatory courses. Drawing on the experience of the preparatory course at Kabardino-Balkarian State University (KBSU), the process of international students creating their own digital projects (presentations, videos) dedicated to historical events is analyzed. The pedagogical conditions for the effective use of this technology are identified, as well as its role in overcoming language and cultural barriers, as well as in developing students' historical thinking and communicative competence. The article presents the results of testing the methodology, a classification of the student projects, and practical recommendations for integrating digital storytelling into the educational process of the preparatory course.
