Digital activity as a factor of competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises

The article is devoted to the study of digital activity as a key factor in the competitiveness of small and medium-sized businesses in the context of the digital transformation of the economy. The paper clarifies the content of the category "digital activity", reveals its behavioral nature and substantiates its systemic role in the formation of competitive advantages. The analysis of the impact of digital activity on the results of SME activities has been carried out, and the relationship between the level of digitalization and financial and economic indicators and the adaptability of enterprises has been shown [8]. Special attention is paid to identifying the constraints constraining the development of digital activity, including resource, personnel and institutional barriers. Based on the conducted research, the directions of increasing digital activity are proposed, covering strategic, technological and organizational aspects of SME development. It is proved that the comprehensive implementation of these areas contributes to the formation of sustainable competitive advantages and increase the efficiency of enterprises. The results obtained can be used in the development of strategies for the digital development of SMEs and the formation of measures of state support for entrepreneurship.
