An 11‐month‐old Belgian Warmblood colt was referred for a progressive swelling in the right pre‐maxilla. Upon clinical and computed tomographic examination, a very large (8 × 12 × 15 cm), oval, expansile, heterogeneous contrast enhancing mass was identified. The lesion was surgically resected, and the tissue was submitted for histopathology, which revealed a rare case of angiomatosis. The yearling recovered well from the surgical intervention, except for mild facial paralysis. A 22‐month follow‐up showed no recurrence and no complications. Tumours and tumour‐like growths of vascular tissue represent a somewhat poorly described group in domestic animal literature, making it difficult to establish a generally accepted system of classification, treatment plan or defined outcome.
